BROOKFIELD – The Sheboygan Falls Falcons used some small ball to trip up Brookfield East 5-3 in a non-conference baseball matchup Saturday, July 10.
Falls built an early 5-1 lead by the fourth inning, while starting pitcher Cole Heili scattered six hits to pick up his third win of the season.
Heili produced 15 fly ball outs, as the Falcons defense played an error-free game. With the victory, the Falls squad improved its overall record to 10-17.
“It was a big win for our program.” Said Falcons coach Todd Struve. “Brookfield is rated sixth in the state and it was one of our better games of the year.”
