4-H-Madison All Stars –May and June
Abby Faul called the May meeting of the Madison All Stars 4-H Club to order. The American pledge was led by Sam Krueger and the 4-H pledge was led by Brittany Konop.
The secretary’s report was given by Katie Deheck. The treasurer’s report was given by David Bimmel, and Ashley Oppeneer followed with the reporter’s report. They were all approved and passed.
The Sunshine Committee report was given by Katie Deheck. Shawn Burkhart gave the Youth Association report followed by Randy Meyer giving the Leaders Association report. Abby Faul read the correspondence. There were two. There were no additions and corrections to the agenda.
Old business.
The Bowling Party report was given by Kenzea Crawford, who said that the party had a good turnout. Brady Koller gave the Plymouth Care Center bingo report and said that the residents had a good time.
The May Baskets report was given by Emilie Burkhart, and she said thank you to everyone who contributed. Shawn Burkhart gave the Survive Alive House brat fry report and said that there was a great turnout and Mr. Blattner gave a large donation.
Ongoing business.
Anna Burkhart gave the club trip report and talked about going to a Brewer game or Timber Rattlers game.
Brittany Konop then gave the Adopt-a-Highway report and said they would be on the Saturdays after a club meeting.
The softball report was given by Abby Debbink, who said that it would be on Monday nights starting in June.
Tiffany Fischer gave the June Dairy Month window contest report and said that the display would be placed at Buehler’s Furniture store.
Sara Fisher gave the Flower Garden report and said that you should sign up for a week this summer. Grace Ratzlaff followed with the Sunny Ridge activity report and talked about doing Sunny Fest in July.
Speeches and demonstrations
were given by Jackson Bayer.
New business.
The Fair Food Stand report was given by Linda Barthels, who talked about which days we would want to work.
Abby Faul then talked about having the June meeting at Camp Riversite. It was decided it would begin with softball at 6 p.m.
Randy Meyer handed out certificates to the seniors for the graduate recognition by the Alumni Association. He then also talked about the Urban Garden. He asked for volunteers for the kickoff May 25.
The leaders report was given by Randy Meyer and Bev Resop.

Mike Berres gave the Urban Gardens report and said that there were 14 people there and they pulled weeds and put mulch down.
Graduate’s comments given that evening were given by Shawn Burkhart.
Ongoing business.
The Club Trip report was given by Anna Burkhart, who said that the trip was scheduled for July 10 for a Timber Rattlers game.
The Adopt-a-Highway report was given by Brittany Konop, who said thank you for all who came last time.
Abby Debbink gave the softball report and said the first game is on the 14th at River Park.
The June Dairy Month window contest was reported by Tiffany Fischer, who said that they would be putting up the window display in Buehler’s Furniture store June 10 at 2 p.m.
Sara Fisher gave the Flower Garden report and said that they planted the flowers and all the weeks for summer are filled.
The Sunny Ridge report was given by Grace Ratzlaff, who said that Sunny Fest is coming up and the signup would be in the next newsletter. Emily Pearce said that you could still sign up for June Dairy Month at Plymouth Care Center, and Linda Barthels said there was nothing new to report for the Fair Food Stand.

were given by Emily Pearce, Ethan Pearce, Lilly Pearce, Titus Pearce, Caleb Pearce and Evan Sukowaty.
New business.
Susan Deheck said that you should fill out your enrollment forms and get them to her by July 3 at the latest.
Sarah Deheck gave the 4-H Camp report and said that it was a great experience and that you should sign up by June 15. The dates for camp are Aug. 3-6, and there was a motion to reimburse the campers $10, which was passed.
Shelly gave the club T-shirts report.
The Silent Auction report was given by Randy Meyer, who said that each club is encouraged to give a basket of $30 or more.
There was a motion passed to do the Popcorn Party for Enchanted Forest.
Heather Pfeifer gave the Club Picnic report and said that it would be Tuesday, July 15, at Rochester Park. Each family was to bring a dish or dessert.
Bev Resop and Randy Meyer gave the leaders report.
Announcements.
The Be an Angel benefit would be June 25 at Racers Hall. The project benefits Angel Hugs.
