Boys & Girls Club hands out Youth of the Month honors

The Sheboygan Falls Boys & Girls Club has honored three youth members for their outstanding leadership, positive attitude and respectfulness, during the month of June.

The Sheboygan Falls Center chose Izzie Schamburek as the Club Youth of the Month for June.

Schamburek is a regular member at the Boys and Girls Club. Her smile and laugh can be found in every room in the club. She loves to participate in every activity, but seems to favor the Pals Room. Always a good sport and helpful to others, Schamburek is a great example of an excellent member at the club.

Carter Neumeyer was chosen as June’s Sportsperson of the Month. He was selected due to his excellent participation and attitude at the Boys and Girls Club.

Neumeyer plays fair and encourages other members to do the same. He is respectful to staff and is a great member to have on a daily basis.

The Club at Three-9-TEEN has chosen Taylor Mehan for the Teen of the Month honors for June.

Mehan, 15, says her favorite thing about the club is the staff and other members. The club is a place for her to have fun and spend time with friends. A regular attendee, Mehan can be counted on to bring a positive energy to the club.

The Sheboygan Falls Boys & Girls Club strives to teach strong character qualities to its members. The Youth and Sportsperson of the Month program allows the Club to honor and reward those members who truly display good character.
