Can you pass a quiz on local government?
I would be the last to say I know all or most of the answers to major questions and issues facing Sheboygan County and its government. Nor would I say I know all the employees who play a role in managing our county – but I know the major players as well as a good number of county employees.
Being on the Sheboygan County Board for a number of years, as most other longer term County Board members, we are fairly well informed especially on the issues covered by the committee to which we are assigned.
Because it is helpful to refresh our memories for time to time, I thought in might be interesting and helpful to hold a quiz. To see how much one might know about the people, agencies and duties involved in running your county government. The quiz is not intended to grade someone but to give you an idea of the responsibilities and people involved and see how much you may or may not know or remember. (Answers are given at the end of the article.)
