German Night in City Park Thursday

The City Park summer concert series will wrap up in grand style Thursday with the 32nd annual German Night concert.

The night will feature three different bands — the Plymouth Municipal Band in their last performance for the summer, the Plymouth High School Junge Kameraden and Dorf Kapelle under the direction of Ernie Broenimann.

The Junge Kameraden will begin the evening’s show at 6 p.m., followed by the Municipal Band at 7 p.m. and the Dorf Kapelle at 8 p.m., all on the bandstand on Grove Street in City Park.

To complete the evening the Plymouth High School Performing Arts Booster Club will begin serving authentic German food, including Spanferkel, bratwurst, German potato salad and more, at 3 p.m. The Municipal Band will present the beer garden on the west side of the bandstand.
