FUFL draft approaches

The Sheboygan Falls United Football League (FUFL) will hold its annual draft, Thursday, Aug. 5, at Zell Field, located adjacent to Sheboygan Falls High School.
All young players entering fifth through eighth grade, with an age limit of 15 by Sept. 1, are invited to attend. Youths residing outside the Sheboygan Falls school district are required to pay a $50 equipment fee.
This year marks the 43rd consecutive season that the FUFL has been dedicated time to teaching youth the skills of tackle football. Practice is scheduled to start Monday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m.
The league is divided into fifth/sixth grade and seventh/eighth grade teams.
Each child will to be drafted to a team. If your child hasn’t registered, call Dan Mathieu at 783-7506, Brian Van Engen at 467-2495 or Steve Ottman at 467-3768. You may also register the night of the draft.
Also come join the Sheboygan Falls United Football League (FUFL) in the celebration of 43 years of youth football (1967-2010) with a Kick-Off fundraiser brat fry and car wash Saturday, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly in Sheboygan Falls.
