4-H-Willing Workers – July
Willing Workers 4-H Club was called to order at 5:25 p.m. July 12 at the Parnell park, where a softball game took place after the meeting. The pledge was led by John, Rachael and Emily. For roll call the question “What is your favorite flavor of ice cream” was asked.
The Waldo State Bank sent a thank-you card to all of the members who served ice cream. They served around 40 people and had a blast! They said the ice cream was really good. Thanks everyone!
Our next meeting will be the club picnic at the Wimmler farm Aug. 2.
The members who walked in the Firemen's Parade said they had great fun throwing candy; they also said they were in third place in the line for the parade!
Mrs. Laudolff said that if anyone would like to still order a club T-shirt, they may do so.
Mrs. Kryzaniak said that all of the members need to send in their “4-H is a place for...” sentence and a nice picture that goes along with the sentence for our fair booth.
The quarters were given to a fellow member of 4-H who had a heart transplant. The quarters were sent with Chloe Laudolff for the next month, and we are all excited to see what she does with them!
The meeting ended at 5:50 p.m. and the softball game took place right after.
