Learning the basics

Boys entering grades 6-7 go throug a ball-handling drill in the Plymouth Boys Basketball Summer Camp held recently at the Riverview Middle School gym. The camp, which drew 110 local boys in grades 3-10, focused on learning and developing basic skills, and team play. "The camp went really well. With the older kids we treated most of teh days like regular practices. With the youngest kids, we tried to keep things a little mmore light by turning fundamental drills into coompetitions and games," said camp director jason Duff. Duff thanked his camp assistants Brad Feick and PHS players Mitch Unger, Myles Dellger and Brent Krueger for their help; and Community Education's Kathryn Murray and Karen Langhout for their camp administration.
