New judge to be sworn in
Angela W. Sutkiewicz will be sworn in as Sheboygan County Circuit Court Judge, Branch III Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Sheboygan County Courthouse, Branch I.
Sutkiewicz was appointed by Gov. Jim Doyle to replace retired Judge Gary Langhoff. Judge L. Edward Stengel will serve as master of ceremonies and Chief Judge Richard S. Brown, Court of Appeals District II, will swear in his former intern.
Sutkiewicz received her law degree from Marquette University in 1986. She began her career as a prosecutor in Walworth County and has been a sole practitioner in Sheboygan the last 20 years. Sutkiewicz has a long history of community service and resides in Sheboygan with her husband and three daughters.
Sutkiewicz is excited for the opportunity to serve the people of Sheboygan County. “It is an honor and a privilege to follow Judge Langhoff as Circuit Court Judge in Branch III. I understand the responsibility that goes along with this honor and public protection will be a priority.”
