Sheriff’s Report – Aug. 3

The Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident July 31 about 11 a.m. at State 23 and County E in Plymouth. Ronald Blanke, 67, of Sheboygan Falls, was stopped at a stop sign at the corner of State 23 and County E. Blanke continued into the intersection striking a Ford Explorer driven by Reid Krist, 45, also of Sheboygan Falls, in the rear causing the Krist vehicle to spin out of control, hitting a construction sign and barrels and rolling several times before coming to a rest in the median.

The Plymouth Fire Department’s Jaws of Life was needed to extract Krist from his car. Both Krist and a passenger in his car, Ryan Krist, 16, were transported to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center with severe, but non life-threatening injuries.
