4-H- Brave Bears – August

The Aug. 5 Brave Bears meeting was called to order by President David Derus at 6:30 p.m. The American pledge was led by Sadie Beltran, and the 4-H pledge was led by Ella Harpsted.

Secretary report was given by Dakota Ortiz, and Emma Schuren gave the treasurers’ report.

There were no correspondences this month.

Roll call was taken by Dakota, and you had to answer roll call by saying the name of an animal that shares the first letter of its name with you.

There was no old business this month.

New business:

• Nick Broder said that our club will be working in the 4-H Fair Food Stand from 7-10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3.

• Mrs. Derus said we will be walking in the Falls Fest Parade. The parade will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 21. • Mrs. Schuren said we will be donating books to Kenya. There were no speeches and demos this month. The Aug. 5 meeting was adjourned by President Derus at 6:58 p.m.
