District 27 debate set

To the Editor:

I want to make sure that everyone is aware of the District 27 state Assembly debate Thursday, Aug. 19, at Kiel High School at 7 p.m.

This might be your only opportunity to see Randy Meyer and Steve Kestell debate before the Republican primary on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

Independent candidate Jack Lechler, who will face the winner of the primary, will also be participating.

I believe this forum will be an excellent opportunity to seewhere the candidates both disagree and agree on issues.

I think you will see a clear difference in leadership and communication styles. I strongly encourage everyone to take the time to attend. Thank you to Wisconsin Citizens Involvement for hosting this debate.
