Plymouth in 8th-grade Cadet finals
PLYMOUTH – Sheboygan Falls scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to beat Plymouth Black, 5-4, in a thrilling eighth-grade Cadet championship game of the Lakeshore Baseball League playoffs here last month.
All three runs came in on a long fly ball that dropped into left-center field, including the batter who avoided the catcher’s tag at home plate. Plymouth tallied two runs in the top of the eighth to go ahead 4-2.
Falls rallied for two runs in the last of the seventh to tie the game, 2-2, and force extra innings.
The Sheboygan Bandits
