Funeral home spearheads effort to get coats to anyone who needs one

Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, in conjunction with 104.5 The Point radio is sponsoring its 20th annual Coats for Kids program.

Over the past 19 years, more than 15,000 coats have been distributed in this community to those in need.

Coats will be distributed at the Salvation Army located at 710 Pennsylvania Ave. in Sheboygan from 1-6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 1 and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5.

Clean used coats of any size for any age, that are in good repair, will be collected from Sept. 1 through Oct. 29. Coats can be dropped off at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday at 1535 S. 12th St. in Sheboygan.

“As in the past, we are contacting Sheboygan area schools, churches and service groups to invite them to participate,” commented Michael Reinbold, president of Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home.
