Homecoming Parade entries encouraged

Community groups are encouraged to enter the Plymouth High School Homecoming parade, which has a theme of “PHS in the Big Cities” this year. The parade will travel through downtown Plymouth on Friday, Oct. 1, beginning at 4pm. at the corner of Forest and Smith streets. Participants should be in place by 3:30pm. Cars, floats and walkers may participate. Floats and cars must move at 5 mph. for safety reasons. Candy and gum cannot be thrown, but may be handed to children. To participate, return a parade entry form by Sept. 17. Forms are available at www.plymouth.k12.wi.us. The high school soccer team had this float in the 2009 parade.
