Panthers steamroll Waupun in EWC match
WAUPUN – Senior forward Paul Thompson scored three goals to ignite a potent Plymouth attack as the Panthers rolled past Waupun, 10-0, in Eastern Wisconsin Conference boys soccer play here Thursday afternoon.
It was the Panthers’ second straight EWC shutout en route to improving to 2-0 in the league and 5-0 overall. Franz Tadych tallied two goals.
Sam Zwick, Zach Fohr, Ben Schuldt, Logan Ryan and Brad Mallmann added one goal each. Mallmann had a team-high three assists, followed by Tadych with two, and Marcus Gamoke and Thompson with one each.
PHS outshot the Warriors by a whopping 28-3. Jon Hintz made two saves for PHS.
