SFES PTO to hold Family Fun Walk

The Sheboygan Falls Elementary PTO is hosting a Falcon Family Fun Walk on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the elementary school.

The walk will provide families with a fun, healthy and exciting day of activities. The event will be a fundraiser to help raise money for field trips, special assemblies and educational events.

Families of SFES students and community members are invited to attend. A half-mile walking route, stretching stations, inflatable obstacle course, dunk tank, DJ and food are planned. The intent is to make the walk an annual fall event.

Students are asked to collect pledges for the walk. The student raising the most money will be given a chance to earn a T-shirt, pedometer, gift certificate for the Book Fair and a pizza party based on the amount of donations they gather.

All students who attend will have a chance to win raffle prizes donated by area businesses. The committee is still seeking additional raffle prizes and/or donations to help with this event. Those interested in supporting the fundraiser are asked to contact Sarah Schueffner at 467-1576.
