EARL E. FAAS
Earl E. Faas, age 95, of the town of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake, where he had been a resident the past seven years.
He was born Sept. 14, 1914, a son of the late Edward and Emma (Lintner) Faas. He graduated from Plymouth High School, the class of 1932 and then attended Lakeland College for two years.
He worked as a dairy farmer all his life.
Earl traveled the world, visiting six of the seven continents. Earl was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He was also known for his love of sheepshead and never lost his title of family champion. Earl was also a life member of the Plymouth Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hub City #1312.
Survivors include one nephew, David (Ann) Conger of Sturgeon Bay and one niece, Marilyn (Samuel) Ramirez of Mequon, and by assorted great- and great-great nieces and nephews who will miss hearing about his adventures and who thought he was awesome.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Hazel Conger.
At Earl’s request, there will be no public services. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.
