Meyer

To the Editor:

We’ve all grumbled about “the government.” Incumbents in other states have conceded to new faces. Now we have the chance to elect someone who will represent constituents instead of himself: Randy Meyer.

Meyer is running against Steve Kestell, and even as a candidate, he’s listened to my concerns more than Kestell ever did. Unlike Sen. Joe Leibham, who is diligent in listening to constituents and town leaders, Rep. Kestell hasn’t, to my knowledge.

Kestell voted against family farmers when he voted against the raw milk bill. He voted against the independence of the DNR, in the attempted override of Doyle’s veto, whereas Meyer is endorsed by League of Conservation Voters.

We don’t need any more “good old boys” like Kestell; we need a new face. We need Randy Meyer.
