To the Editor:

To all voters:

Before you enter the voting booth, make sure you know all the facts about the candidates. Did you know that Randy Meyer was not a Republican when he ran for mayor of Sheboygan Falls? Also, he decided in October 2009 to run for the Assembly’s 27th District; long before nomination papers for the mayoral race were due in December 2009. He ran for mayor knowing he would not be serving the full term if elected to the Assembly.

I believe this to be a “slap in the face” for all those voters who elected him to serve as mayor of Sheboygan Falls.

He now claims to be a Republican, but is receiving backing and financial support from the Democrats. Which platform will he support if he’s elected? Either way, he is betraying someone.

Remember, you decide what kind of government we will live with until the next election. Do you want an assemblyman that “flip-flops” according to the way the wind blows, or one with “work boot” ethics that are steady, sturdy, and trustworthy.

Steve Kestell has proven he is that candidate, has served us well, and deserves re-election.
