Panthers hike EWC mark to 3-0

KEWASKUM – Plymouth won six matches in straight sets en route to a 6-1 dual victory over host Kewaskum Friday afternoon.

The Panthers raised their Eastern Wisconsin Conference girls tennis record to 3-0 (7-5 overall).

“Playing under very difficult conditions, the team coped extremely well. Kewaskum’s lineup was bolstered with the addition of three foreign-exchange students,” said Panther head coach Tom Pederson.

“I was very proud of the way our players handled the wind and the drizzle. They showed the maturity that I expect from a veteran team.”
