Tigers win CLC volleyball opener

RANDOM LAKE – The Howards Grove Tigers won their Central Lakeshore Conference girls volleyball debut over host Random Lake, 25-20, 25-13, 25-22 Thursday night.

Howards, 4-0 overall in duals, was led in spike kills by Hayley Rickmeier with nine. Rickmeier also had a team-high three blocks and ace serves, four. Alexis Lindstrom led in assists with 19.

Brooke Schaller paced the Tigers in digs with 10. Brianna Morgen shared the lead in ace serves at four. “The Rams were a tough team and the Tigers did what was necessary to win,” said Tiger head coach Brett Damrow.
