GAIL R. NACK
Gail R. Nack, age 69, of Waldo, Wis., passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 18, 2012, at her home of an aneurysm.
She was born Jan. 24, 1942 in Plymouth, Wis., a daughter of the late Kenneth and Marie (Spradau) Knowles.
She attended Plymouth area grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1960. She attended Lakeshore Technical College and graduated with a Nursing Assistant’s degree.
On March 27, 1976, she married Dale Nack in Sheboygan, Wis. The couple have resided in Waldo since their marriage.
Gail was employed with the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Center in Sheboygan Falls, and retired from Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility in 2004 after 30 years of health care services for Sheboygan County.
She enjoyed nature, bird watching, spending time with her two Boston terrier canine friends: Heckler and A.K., and spending precious time with her loving family.
Survivors include her husband, Dale of Waldo; two children, Eric (Cathy) Hoogstra of Glenbeulah and Heidi Hoogstra (husband, Steve) of Portland, Ore.; twin grandsons, Jacob and Abraham Hoogstra, both of Glenbeulah; one sister, Kay (Jim) Skelton of Lac du Flambeau, Wis.; one sister-in-law, Margaret (Al) Witzak of Saukville, Wis.; and step father-in-law, Robert Chuvan of Sheboygan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Gail was preceded in death by one son, David; one grandson, Zachary Hoogstra; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Chuvan.
Memorial services were held Sunday afternoon, Jan. 22, at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Tom Fleischmann, chaplain of Sheboygan County Health Care Centers, officiated. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial fund is being established in Gail’s name.
