Hot time is coming
Downtown Plymouth will heat up Friday, Feb. 10, from 5-8pm., with the 7th annual Hot Time in the Old Town. Eight fire barrels packed along Mill Street will be tended by Plymouth firefighters. Local residents and visitors can stop by the fires, roast a marshmallow or hot dog, enjoy cider, hot chocolate, popcorn or whoopee pies. A fireman’s boot is located at each location for donations towards the upkeep of the infrared camera. Thrivent of Plymouth will supplement the donation to the Fire Department. Downtown restaurants, bars, and shops will be offering a variety of specials and sales. New this year is a Decorate the Boot contest for children 10 years and under. The winner will receive a gift basket.
