RANDOLPH “RANDY” MILLER
He was born May 20, 1955, in Plymouth, a son of Lois “Mickey” Duquette Miller and the late Richard “Dick” Miller.
On Sept. 4, 1982, he married the love of his life, Debby (nee Jones) Miller who preceded him in death Sept. 17, 2000. On July 4, 2009, he married his second wife and best friend, Geriann (nee Meyer) Kienbaum-Miller.
Randy worked for Kraft Foods for 17 years. From there he joined the crew working for the city of Plymouth for 16 years until he retired in 2012 due to his illness. He worked part time for the Suchon Funeral Home and other locations doing lawn care and would never pass up a job detailing cars.
Randy loved spending time with his family, having a beer or two in the garage with friends and taking care of his yard and home. In his spare time he enjoyed 43 years of hunting in Boulder Junction, riding his Harley and cruising in his sports car and anyone who knew him knew he was nothing but a NASCAR and Chevy fan.
He is survived by his mother, Lois “Mickey” Miller; his wife, Geriann (nee Meyer) Kienbaum-Miller; his six children: Joseph Miller (fiancée, Liz Fenske), Lizabeth Miller (special friend, Kyle Grosskreutz), very special nephew: Isaac, Amy and Paul Lauer, Brian “Buddy” and Lisa Kienbaum, Amanda and A.J. Schillingowski; and his seven grandchildren: Lianna, Corbin, Ben, Brady, Tristan, Olivia and Ava; mothersin law, Mary Jones and Ethel Meyer; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Nancy and Allen Eisentraut, Peggy Weber, Sharon and Dennis Eldred, Dan and Diane Meyer, Gary and Patti Meyer and Barbara Borre. The Kienbaum families, special cousin: Diane and Glen Kretschke; great neighbor and friends, Randy and Karen Brehm; hunting partner, Randy and Denise Prange; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Dick” Miller; his wife, Debby (nee Jones) Miller; his sister, Joanne “Bowser” and his brother, Perry “Winkel”; his fathers-in-law, Casey Jones and Victor Meyer; brothers-in-law, Chuck Jones and Ronald Meyer; and a very special friend, Lori Woelfel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth. The Rev. James Wilson, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 29, and at the CHURCH Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Randy’s name.
