Tourism alliance boosting us all

THE WEATHER AND THE calendar are finally getting close to summer.

That means a lot of things are getting close, including the peak season for one of Sheboygan County's major industries - tourism.

Local communities like Plymouth and Elkhart Lake will be welcoming visitors of all sorts, coming for the sights, the shopping, the sports, the recreation, the scenic beauty, the nature and more. They will be bringing their money with them, infusing the economic lifeblood of our area and lending support to many different local businesses.

County communities are already reaping the benefits of their partnership through the Tourism Alliance of Sheboygan County. By pooling their resources through this joint tourism promotion effort, places like Elkhart Lake and Plymouth get their message and news of their attractions delivered to a wider - and more receptive - audience.
