Getting the mural done

Three aerial lifts and one Sky Trak were put to work on the Dairy State Bank mural in downtown Plymouth Sunday as the artists pushed hard to complete the mural on time. At the height of the Walldogs mural painting event there was more than $1 million worth of equipment being used on the 21 murals, most of which was donated for the event. There were five 42-foot aerial lifts, one 60-foot aerial lift, two scissors lifts, four bucket trucks, three Sky Trak units, plus scaffolding and ladders. According to event chairman Jerry Thompson, all of the murals are completed and few are still awaiting mounting on downtown buildings.
