Falls' Messer elected to state's highest Kiwanis office

Former American Family Insurance Agent Lynn Messer of Sheboygan Falls has found a good way to spend his time now that he is retired. He recently became the Kiwanis organization Governor-elect 2011-12 for Wisconsin and Upper Michigan at the annual Kiwanis Summer Convention, which has held in Brookfield Aug. 20. Messer, who has been a member of the Sheboygan Falls Kiwanis Club for the past 31 years, will become the Kiwanis governor in 2012-2013 for the WI-UM District. He is the first local Kiwanis member to have been elected to the highest office at the district level. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
