EL-G Students recognized

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School held a student recognition ceremony Nov. 18, where students from various activities were recognized and congratulated in front of the student body and faculty. The ceremony was for achievements that occurred during the 1st Quarter of the school year.

The following groups were recognized: FFA Floriculture Team, all fall athletes, students in the Halloween Pops Concert, students who participated in the Veterans Day Ceremony, Lakeland College Math Competition members, Freshmen Honors Band members, FCCLA, Trees for Tomorrow participants, Camp Enterprise Leadership nominees, and students of the Quarter. The Students of the Quarter were: Hunter Michalowske-agriculture, Rachel Lallensack-Art, Haley Kammerzelt-Business Education, Brad Lawonn-English, Dakota Carlson-Foreign language, Lindsay Hiebing-Family and Consumer education, Marissa Benicke-mathematics, Jake Shovan-instrumental music, Lexus Brennan-physical education, Catrina Chapple-social studies and Alex Carew-technology education.

A raffle for Packer tickets was also held at the end of the ceremony. Students were eligible based on attendance criteria and one or fewer minor behavioral referrals. We want to recognize positive behaviors and reward our students on a quarterly basis for these behaviors. Lauren Carew was the winner of the tickets.
