Library showing 'The Avengers' Nov. 16

Have you ever wondered what the library is like after all of the lights have been turned out and everyone has gone home? Now is your chance to find out! On November 16, the library will be showing Marvel’s The Avengers on our big screen in a special after-hours event just for teens. Doors will open at 5:45 for the movie, but they will be locked to newcomers at 6:05 pm sharp, so don’t be late! Snacks will be provided.

When evil threatens Earth’s populations, why call on one superhero to save the day when you could have four? Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk and Thor come together to save the world from Thor’s malicious brother, Loki. The movie lasts 143 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action throughout, and a mild drug reference. This program is open to teens ages 13-19 only. There will be a minimum of two library staff present for the duration of the event.

Please note that the Plymouth Public Library will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23 for observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The library will reopen for its normal hours of 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, November 24.

If you have any questions about programs for children or teens, please call Youth Services Librarian Allyson Obermeier at (920) 892-4416, ext. 108.
