Richard R. Wuestenhagen, age 65, of Lake Tomahawk, Wis., passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, peacefully at his home under hospice care.

He was born July 7, 1947, in Sheboygan, Wis., to the late George and Verona (Pensilin) Wuestenhagen. Richard grew up in Howards Grove, Wis., and was a 1965 graduate of Howards Grove High School.

He was later married to Marilyn Prange; she survives.

Richard was employed at the Kohler Co. in Kohler, Wis., for 34 years where he worked in the engine division. He and Marilyn moved to the Lake Tomahawk area in 2000. Upon moving to Lake Tomahawk, Richard and Marilyn purchased the Tamarack Tap.

He enjoyed his 1971 Corvette. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Most of all, Richard loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Wuestenhagen of Lake Tomahawk; two sons, Tyler (Jessica) Wuestenhagen of Howards Grove and Robert Wuestenhagen of Sheboygan; one daughter, Kelly Wuestenhagen of Sheboygan; and one sister, Ione Teskey, also of Sheboygan. He is further survived by one grandson and one greatgranddaughter.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, nine sisters, and one grandson.

In accordance with Richard’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
