Police Report

The Sheboygan Falls Police Department has requested charges of felony burglary, felony theft, felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor criminal trespassing at a dwelling against a 62-year-old male man Sheboygan Falls, stemming from an incident that took place on June 6, 2009.

On that date, the department received a report of a burglary to a residence in the 600 block of Shelly Drive.

The owner of the residence had recently passed away and her funeral arrangements were published in local area newspapers as taking place that day.

When family members returned to the residence following the funeral, they discovered the home had been burglarized and jewelry with a reported value of over $28,000 had been taken from the home.

The Sheboygan Falls Police Department began an investigation upon receiving the report.

On March 21, 2012, after the execution of a search warrant by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department at a residence on Big Bend Lane in Sheboygan Falls, investigators located numerous items of property and evidence.

Investigators were able to identify jewelry located in the home as being some of the property and jewelry taken in the home burglary in 2009 on Shelly Drive.

Based upon this information, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department has forwarded a criminal complaint to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office with a request for charges against the 62-year-old man.


The SFPD is investigating a report of theft of medications at a residence in the 100 block of Amherst Avenue.


Officers with the SFPD are investigating a report of theft of money from a residence in the 500 block of Giddings Avenue.


The SFPD is investigating a reported physical altercation between a male and female in the 100 block of Retail in January.


An adult male and adult female were issued warnings for loud noise/verbal argument in the 100 block of Pine Street.


Officers with the SFPD located and jailed a man wanted on an apprehension requests in the 100 block of Amherst Avenue.


The SFPD responded to a report of illegal entry into a residence in the 800 block of Buffalo Street. The incident is under investigation.


SFPD officers conducted a traffic stop for a driver going the wrong direction on a one-way street near the intersection of Giddings Avenue and School Street.

An adult male was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and wrong way driving. After being arrested, the man was jailed.


The SFPD assisted the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department with a car accident near the intersection of State 32 and State 23.


The SFPD is investigating a reported case of identity theft in the 100 block of Boland Parkway.


Officers with the SFPD removed two unwanted adult patrons for a businesses in the 100 block of Hamann Drive.


SFPD officers referred a reported sexual assault of an under aged person to an out-of-county jurisdiction after determining the incident took place in another municipality.


The Sheboygan Falls Rescue Department responded to the following emergency calls Jan. 28 through Feb. 4.

• 100 block of Rochester Drive
• 100 block of Amherst Avenue
• 600 block of Monroe Street
• 500 block of Wilson Avenue
• 700 block of Woodview Avenue
