EVELYN M. “EVIE” WEBER

Evelyn M. “Evie” Weber, age 89, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth.

She was born Dec. 19, 1923, in Greenbush, daughter of the late William and Frieda (Gumtow) Suemnicht.

On April 27, 1945, she married George WeberFa in Iowa. He preceded her in death March 10, 2000.

During her working career, she was employed at Krier Canning Co. and as a school bus driver with Johnson & Degnitz Bus Service of Random Lake.

She is survived by a son, Terry Weber of Cascade; two daughters, Faye (Richard) Mrotek of Kiel and Lori Weber of Kiel; five grandchildren: Michelle (Ken) Loose of Kiel; Scott (Laura) Weber of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Melissa (Brian Matzen) Mrotek of Manitowoc; Jennifer (Scott Arcand) Pilon of Freedom and Jason (Lynette Schlies) Mrotek of Kiel; eight great-grandchildren: Kyle and Megan “Mighty Mouse” Mrotek of Kiel; Karissa, Jadon and Riley Weber of Kalamazoo; Brittany and Jessica Pilon and Zack Arcand of Freedom; a brother, August “Butch” Suemnicht of Reesburg; two brothers-in-law, Fritz Weber of Arizona and Peter (Janet) Weber of Waldo; and three sisters-in-law: Ester Turlock of Sheboygan Falls, Doris Suemnicht of Plymouth and Beverly Suemnicht of Sheboygan. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends further survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Kerry Weber; a daughter-in-law, Rickyann Weber; a great-grandson, William Pilon III; five brothers: William (Connie) Suemnicht, Kenneth (Ruth) Suemnicht, Carl (Lynda) Suemnicht, Earl Suemnicht and Alvin (Marge) Suemnicht; seven sisters: Donna (Norman) Voell, Elnora (William) Bengal, Lola (Wilmer) Schultz, Lydia (Bob) Ninnemann, Norma (Harold) Nachreiner, Gladys (Lester) Hanson and Little Fredia Suemnicht; sisters-in-law and brothersin law: Herb (Arlene) Weber, Joe Weber, Nick (Lucille) Weber, Louis Weber, Elmer (Betty) Weber, Elizabeth Weber, George Turlock and Laurin Falk.

A memorial service was held Monday evening, Feb. 18, at the Schneider Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Thomas Fleischman officiating.
