Roger E. Sabrowsky, age 76, of Westfield (formerly of Howards Grove), Wis., died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013.

Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma, Wis. The Rev. Kelli Fisher will officiate.

Friends may call on Tuesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Interment will be at the Restlawn Memorial Park, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.

Roger was born Feb. 6, 1937 in Sheboygan, Wis., to Edward and Lorena (Van Sluys) Sabrowsky. Roger graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan, Wis., in 1955.

Roger married Elizabeth Baalke on Dec. 17, 1955. This marriage was blessed with three children before ending in divorce.

He worked at Verifine Dairy in Sheboygan for 30 years; he also worked for Imogene One Hour Martinizing while in Sheboygan. Roger moved to Westfield in 1989, and worked at A&W Farms in Coloma and M&I Bank in Adams.

Roger enjoyed fishing, bird watching, nature in general, woodworking and crafts, tinkering with automobiles, fixing anything, working with Habitat for Humanity Projects, and reading.

Roger was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Edward Sabrowsky; mother, Lorena Engebretson; stepfather, Ted Engebretson; and brother-in-law, Leon Schultz.

Survivors are special friend, Ruth Correll of Adams, Wis.; son, Dale (Diane) Sabrowsky of Howards Grove; daughter: Susan (Steve) Zerger of Van Dyne, Wis.; daughter, Kimberly (Kelly) Rosal of Newton, Wis.; brother, Kenneth (Bernice) Sabrowsky of Howards Grove; sister, Gloria Schultz of Cascade, Wis.; brother, Jerry (Audrey) Sabrowsky of Howards Grove; sister, Doris (Ernest) Koepke of Plymouth, Wis.; brother, Ralph (Robin) Sabrowsky of Elkhart Lake, Wis.; grandchildren: Amber Sabrowsky of Madison, Wis.; Christopher (Kandace) Nowakowski of Madison; Cole Nowakowski of Plymouth, Minn.; Jessica Reitz of Van Dyne; Jacqueline (Brian) Abel of Fond du Lac, Wis.; Justina (Dean) Zerger-Freund of Fond du Lac; Thomas Bogart of Plymouth, Wis.; Jeffrey (Tiffiany) Bogart of Minoqua, Wis.; Kelly Bogart of Adell, Wis.; Kandice (Hal) Specht of Tampa, Fla.; Kallen Rosal of Newton, Wis., and Kyler Rosal of Newton; 11 great-grandchildren; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
