Mary Ann Boeldt, age 55, of Cascade, Wis., passed away peacefully early Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 26, 2013, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan after a courageous battle with cancer since 2009.

Mary Ann was born Aug. 20, 1957, in Sheboygan, Wis., a daughter of Robert and Louette “Lou” Sixel Boeldt. She graduated from Lightfoot School in 1978.

Mary Ann worked at RCS in Sheboygan and 15 years at Pine Hills Country Club.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

She enjoyed reading, knitting, bowling and spending time with loved ones and eating at all the different restaurants in the area.

Survivors include her parents, Robert and Louette “Lou” Boeldt of Plymouth; one brother, Gene Boeldt and one sister, Susan Boeldt, both at home; two aunts, Margene (Milton) Karsted of Cleveland and Geraldine (Richard) Korb of Kiel; and also survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday evening, March 3, at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. The Rev. Nathan Meador, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial took place in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

A memorial fund is being established in her name.
