Jolly Pranksters at library

Plymouth’s most popular show will be here at the Plymouth Public Library this Early Release Day.

Join us Wednesday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m. to see the Jolly Pranksters of Plymouth High School. They are an improvisational comedy group of local high school students who compete in ComedySportz matches against other improv groups.

ComedySportz shows are always hilarious, interactive, fast-paced, and different every time. Our very own Jolly Pranksters are sure to put your whole family into stitches with their sidesplitting routines.

Remember, all library programs are free and open to the public. This program will last 45 minutes to 1 hour and is appropriate for kids of all ages and their families.

Do you love building with LEGOs? Are you between the ages of 6 and 12? If so, come to the library Saturday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. for the Plymouth Public Library LEGO Club. This is a great opportunity to be creative with LEGOs and to hang out with other kids who love building. Completed creations will be displayed in the library.

The program lasts approximately one hour. We ask that a parent or guardian remain in the library building while the child is in LEGO club.

If you have any questions about library programs for children or teens, please call Youth Services Librarian Allyson Obermeier at (920) 892-4416, ext. 108.

Please note that, upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of disabled individuals through appropriate aids and services. For additional information, to request this service, or to request information in an alternative format, contact Library Director Martha Rosche at (920) 892-4416, ext. 105.

Making Spirits Bright names agency

The marketing committee of the new holiday lights show, Making Spirits Bright, is already developing plans to enhance awareness for the coming 2013 show, naming Ad Associates as agency of record.

Initial creative, including logo design, identity package materials, sponsor solicitation piece, event booklet, and other promotional materials were developed by the agency in cooperation with the committee. The marketing committee is comprised of co-chairs Dan Redman and Kris Krentz, and Donna Wendlandt.

“Our decision to begin working with Ad Associates immediately resulted in work that was bright, exciting, professional, direct, and informative and set the tone for the perception of the show,” said co-chair Redman in a press release.

Making Spirits Bright is a holiday lights show developed by the four Sheboygan Rotary Clubs. The drive-thru display was open during the 2012 holiday season at Evergreen Park in Sheboygan. Visitors were asked to bring non-perishable food and pantry donations which were, in turn, given to the area food pantries.

Ad Associates is a full-service advertising and marketing resource offering marketing plans, media strategy, direct mail, development of collateral materials, public relations, trade show support, online marketing, and specialty projects.
