Margaret M. Hoffman, age 98, of Adell, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Arbor View Assisted Living in Plymouth.

She was born Feb. 12, 1915, daughter of the late William and Lillian (Wagner) O’Rourke.

On Nov. 12, 1938, she married Lester Hoffman. He preceded her in death in 1972.

She and her husband owned and operated various taverns in the area, and she retired from Sheboygan County Hospital as the kitchen supervisor.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Adell, where she was a member of the Christian Women.

In her free time, she enjoyed attending flea markets.

She is survived by two daughters, Kay (Kenneth) Sauter of West Bend and Lisa (Dan) Shilts of Waldo; a daughter-in-law, Donna Hoffman of Mequon; 11 grandchildren; and 24 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Gary; three brothers, Sylvester, Wilford and Cornelius; and three sisters, Francis, Veronica and Eileen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Adell with the Rev. Todd Budde officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday, March 26, at the Schneider Funeral Home, 123 South St. in Plymouth, from 3-6 p.m. and again Wednesday morning at church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
