PHS leads field in trap league

CEDAR GROVE – Plymouth used a balanced team effort to finish first in the Sheboygan County High School Trapshooting League competition March 23 at the Sauk Trail Conservation Club.

PHS shot 120 (top-five shooters’ scores) out of a possible 125 targets. Scoring 24-for-25 for the team were Michael Kuhn Jr., Dylan Ermer, Trent Struve, Bryce Lueck, Thomas Malone and Joseph Wimmler.

Placing second was Cedar Grove-Belgium with 118. Cedar Grove was led by Taylor Pinnow, Ryan Bisbin, William DeBailey and Eric Dunn with 24-for-25 each.

No shooters had a perfect 25-for-25. Also hitting 24-for-25 were Josh Stauber of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and Sheboygan North’s Tyler Manthel and Peter Reinke.
