Lyndoris “Lynn” Bray, age 90, of Elkhart Lake, Wis., passed away peacefully early Monday evening, April 1, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at Sheboygan Aurora Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 25, 1923, in Whitelaw, Wis., a daughter of the late Joe and Rose (nee Oswald) Lensmire. Lynn graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc in 1941, and attended Business College in Manitowoc.

On June 7, 1948, she married Lawrence E. Bray at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Alverno/Silver Lake (Manitowoc County). The couple resided in Cambridge, Mass., for three and one-half years, returning to Wisconsin in 1951 where they spent many of their years living in Sheboygan and Elkhart Lake.

The majority of her life was spent raising her loving family, including seven children, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lynn cherished the 64-year marriage with her husband and the life they shared. She enjoyed the sunshine at their second home in Florida for 20 years and was the #1 Fan of all her kids’ and grandkids’ activities, never missing an event. She also loved the many experiences she shared with her husband traveling all over the world.

Lynn was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake as well as the Quit Qui Oc Golf Club, Elkhart Lake Study Club and the Red Hat Ladies of Elkhart Lake.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Bray Sr. of Elkhart Lake; six children: Larry Bray Jr. (Jan) of Elkhart Lake; Patricia Balliet (Timothy) of Middleton, Wis.; Geoffrey Bray (fiancée, Jill Daane) of Elkhart Lake; Holly Welsch (Jeffrey) of Elkhart Lake; Lori Bray-Levinsohn (Steve) of Sheboygan and Janine Bolz (Richard) of Howards Grove; eight grandchildren: Tyler and Spencer Balliet, Tony (Jennifer) Bray, Jonathon Bray (Megan Brengarth), Allie Welsch, Kasey Levinsohn, Felicia (Paul) Holzwart and Marquis Bolz; four greatgrandchildren: Milo Emery Bray and Mackenzie, Kendall and Harper Holzwart; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Bray of Montana and Darlene Osieczanek of West Bend; and also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gregory Thomas Bray; one daughter-in-law, Diana Bray; one brother, Howard (Rosemary) Lensmire; and three brothers-in-law: Jim (Margie) Bray, Gene (Faye) Bray and Jack Bray.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. Father Dan Volkert and Father Daniel Lasecki will co-officiate and burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan.

Relatives and friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, and at the CHURCH in the Resurrection Chapel at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

A memorial fund is being established in Lynn’s name for Children’s Make A Wish Foundation.
