Ruth I. (nee Kuhlow) Milhans died peacefully surrounded by her loving family after 90 wonderful years, Friday, March 29, 2013.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Milhans; loving mother of Susan Milhans, David (Bette) Milhans, Dale (Beth) Milhans, Nancy (Kevin) Gawthorp and Lori (Bob) VanGulick; proud grandma of Nate (Chrissy), Jacob (Sara), Jesse (Trisha), Micah (Jamie), Anya (Mike) Winston, William, Katie and Jordan; and beloved sister of Nelda Kaestner, Gerda Schellpfeffer, Luellen Schellpfeffer, Ruben (Avril) Kuhlow, Willard (Jeanette) Kuhlow, Delores Wehmeier, Lavern (Milton) Wipperman, Leroy (Emagene) Kuhlow, Ann (Wayne) Grunwald and Daniel (Harriet) Kuhlow. Ruth was loved and will be remembered by 13 precious great-grandchildren, her dear friends Lilah and Orville Losey, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Helena, Walter and Robert.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield.

Funeral service will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s ELCA Lutheran Church where Ruth was an active and longtime member.
