PAUL R. HOITINK

Paul R. Hoitink died at his home Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the age of 63.

He was born May 9, 1949, in Sheboygan, Wis., a son of the late Lloyd and Delores Veldman Hoitink.

Paul graduated from Oostburg High School in 1967 and served his country in the United States Air Force from 1968-71 serving in the Vietnam conflict.

On Aug. 8, 1970, he married Sylvia Rentmeester in Plymouth, Wis. The couple have resided in the Plymouth area since their marriage.

Paul spent his life working hard and raising a family. After working for Sheboygan County and WP&L, he started Hoitink Home Improvement and was depended upon by many for his talented and meticulous work. He could answer just about any question regarding a house or car.

Paul loved to have fun and joke at the countless family parties that took place in the backyard.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Plymouth; three children: Chad (Kristen) Hoitink of Slinger, Wis.; Paula (Louie) Gentine of Plymouth and Sara (Daniel) Infusino of Salem, Wis.; 10 grandchildren: Madeline, Ben, Mallory and Charlie Hoitink; Lauren, Louis, Jack and Kathrine Gentine and Vincent and Ava Infusino; his motherin law, Agnes Rentmeester of Plymouth; one brother, Perry (Cindy) Hoitink of Oostburg; two sisters, Joyce (Allen) Kuhlow of Hingham and Luann (Glenn) Harmelink of Marshalltown, Iowa; and six sisters-in-law: Irene (Larry) Holzmann of Elkhart Lake, Myrtle (Marvin) Moths of Sheboygan, Barb Webb of Plymouth, Diana (Cris) Schneider of Plymouth, Cindy (Galen) Swartzendruber of Sarasota, Fla., and Angela (Dennis) Fortune of Grayslake, Ill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his fatherin law, Robert Rentmeester; brother-in-law, John Webb; and nieces and nephews: Craig Schneider, Todd Leynse, Tami Leynse, Stephanie Kuhlow, Heidi Harmelink and Terrill Harmelink.

Private family services will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Following Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A memorial fund is being established in Paul’s name.
