SUZANNE MAY JACKSON

April 7, 2013.

Suzanne was born April 26, 1931, the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret E. Straub Kelleman. She graduated in 1949 from Lowrey High School in Dearborn, Mich.

She married Curtis E. Jackson in Pennsylvania on Dec. 22, 1963. He preceded her in death April 4, 1993.

After raising her sons, Suzanne returned to school under the Cosmetology program in Wisconsin and graduated in 1978. She was a consultant at Don’s Hair Salon/Patty’s Hair Salon in Sheboygan until her retirement.

In 2000 she became the life partner of Lew A. Handley.

Suzanne was a member of Bethany Reformed Church in Sheboygan.

She enjoyed camping, family gatherings, baking, crafts and sewing, gardening, vacations to Hawaii, communicating with her worldwide Internet friends. They devoted their time to their beloved pets, Vanilla and Ginger.

Survivors include her five sons: Gregory (Ellen) Wells, Robert (Lisa) Wells and Curtis (Mary) Jackson Jr., all of Sheboygan; Jeffrey (Barbre) Jackson of Two Rivers and Scott Jackson of Sheboygan; and eight grandchildren: Curtis Jackson III, Brenden Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Josh Feng (Wells), Justin Jackson, Meghan Jackson, Colin Jackson and Nathan Jackson.

Celebration of life service was held in conjunction with Lew H. Handley on Saturday noon, April 13.

A memorial fund has been established in honor of Sue and Lew.
