To Editor:

The week of April 21-27 is National Volunteer Week, and The Salvation Army, along with so many organizations in Sheboygan County, owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the thousands of individuals who serve this community as volunteers. Projects, events, daily operations and governance would not happen without thousands of volunteers who bless us each day. We are a community known for its care and generosity, and that’s because so many individuals, families and groups want to give back - they want to make a difference.
