Water Action Volunteers training



Plymouth Mill Pond Lake Association members (left to right) Brian Johnson, Bill Barbieur, Scott McConnaha, Heather Smith (instructor), Tim Hansmann and Michael Niver, received training in stream monitoring last Saturday. The training involved how to measure dissolved oxygen, temperature, turbidity, stream flow, habitat and stream macroinvertebrate life. Three kits were provided to the volunteers to measure these elements in the local area. Unavailable for the picture were Colleen McConnaha, Laura Sauermilch and Evelyn Gunderson.
