Larry L. Laack, age 64, of Plymouth, formerly of Milwaukee, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

He was born in Plymouth on July 1, 1948, to Darwin and the late Grace (Schultz) Laack.

He attended grade school and graduated from Plymouth High School. Larry furthered his education at the Layton School of Art.

Larry lived in Milwaukee for over 30 years and held various jobs including The Milwaukee Performing Arts Center and being a chef at a variety of restaurants.

In his free time he enjoyed reading, had eclectic interests and hobbies; he enjoyed art, design, gardening, poultry, natural history and science.

Due to illness, Larry lived on the farm with his brother Lester for the past 10 years.

He is survived by his father, Darwin of Waldo; two brothers, Lonnie (Vilma) Laack of Sheboygan and Lester Laack of Plymouth, and a sister, Linda (Randy Moss) Laack of Lockhart, Texas. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

According to Larry’s wishes, a green burial will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes of Plymouth has been entrusted with the arrangements.
