Introduction to county government



Middle school students and counselors/teachers from Plymouth and Cedar Grove school districts participated in the annual American Legion-sponsored “County Youth Government Day” program at the Sheboygan County courthouse recently. County Youth Government Day is a nation-wide annual event sponsored locally by the 14 American Legion Posts that comprise the “Sheboygan County Council” under the leadership of County Commander Greg Eirich. County Youth Government Day is designed to teach students, who will be voting for the first time in the near future, about the basic functions of county-level government.
