PAUL R. NOTZ

Paul R. Notz, age 69, of Plymouth, passed away early Thursday evening, May 2, 2013, at Woodland Village at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility after a courageous 18-year battle with cancer.

Paul was born June 11, 1943 in Plymouth, Wis., a son of the late Rudolph and Carolyn Collins Notz.

He attended Plymouth Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1961. He attended the Dry Cleaning Institute in Maryland.

On Sept. 24, 1966, he married Sheila Fee at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cascade, Wis. The couple have resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

Paul owned and operated the family business, Twinbrook Cleaners, in Plymouth with his mother for many years, then became partners with Harvey Gloede before retiring.

In his retirement, he worked at Kohler Hospitality for five years.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.

He was a longtime member of the Plymouth Jaycees, Fond du Lac Corvette Club, the Ravens rock band and the Fisherman’s Road Fishing Club at Lake Winnebago.

Paul always enjoyed his challenging poker games with the “Magnificent Seven Group” (you know who you are). He also excelled at fishing and always participated in the “Winnebago Invitational.” Paul and Sheila enjoyed spending time in Gulf Shores, Ala.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sheila of Plymouth; two sons, Jonathon (Shelley) Notz of Sheboygan and Patrick (Chelle) Notz of San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Mary Bicknell of Seattle, Wash.; one brother-in-law, Terry (Evelyn) Fee of San Diego, Calif.; and also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the CHURCH on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Paul’s name for the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund.
