Tigers fourth in Badger Creek Invite

Howards shot an 18-hole score of 358, led by seniors Garrett Jahnke and Chris Niemann who tied for 10th in the medalist standings with 86s. Campbellport dominated the field – winning the title by 24 strokes as it outscored runner-up Kewaskum, 326-350.

Campbellsport’s low-four golfers finished in the top-three positions. The Cougars’ Caleb Galligan was the medalist with a 79 on the par-72 Badger Creek Club course. Galligan’s teammate Jack Adams was second with an 81.

Also scoring for the Tigers were Tom Hansen and Cole Mc- Craw with 93s.

FREEDOM INVITATIONAL

The Tigers finished eighth in the 12-team Freedom Invitational Friday. Howards shot 162 in the 18-hole, best-ball and scramble tourney at the Irish Water Golf Club.

Jahnke and Niemann combined for a 77 in the scramble event to lead Howards. Also competing for the Tigers were Hansen and Mc- Craw who teamed up for an 85 in best-ball play.

Appleton Xavier won the meet with 148. Xavier’s Chuck Lorge and Chris Funk were the individual champions with a 73.
