SHEBOYGAN FALLS – The Sheboygan Falls Falcons continued their outstanding boys golf season by winning Saturday’s Sheboygan County Invitational at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms.

Falls, which placed second last year, shot a fine 18-hole score of 326 in rainy, cold weather. The two-time defending champion Plymouth Panthers took second with 348. The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters finished fifth at 411. Howards Grove didn’t compete.

Freshman Matt Bachmann of Falls was the medalist with a 3-over-par 75. Senior Chris Bachmann, Matt’s brother, was the runner-up with a 77. Panther senior Tyler Siech placed third with an 82.

Senior Ollie Sadiq led the Resorters with a sixth-place tie at 89.

“We had a nice meet, again losing to a very good Sheboygan Falls team but we did beat all the other schools by at least 12 shots,” said PHS head coach Dan Knaus.
