Helen Mae Miller, age 98, formerly of Plymouth, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 17, 2013, at Gracewood Assisted Living, Champlin, Minn.

She was born Aug. 2, 1914 in Neillsville, Wis., daughter of the late Leonard and Bertha (Rediske) Faas. She attended grade school and graduated from Glenbeulah High School.

On May 10, 1947, she married David Miller. He preceded her in death in 1974.

During her working years, she was employed at Rocky Knoll as a dietary aide and retiring as head of housekeeping.

Helen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Miller of Minneapolis, Minn.; brother, Leonard Faas of Plymouth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; three sisters, Caroline Baumann, Catherine Foley and Renatta Rackow; and brother, Carl Faas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes, 123 South St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Helen Mae Miller for Zion Lutheran Church.
